The second individual time trial stage of the Tour de France 2013 is particularly difficult, one of the most difficult time trials these last years in the Tour de France, between Embrun and Chorges.
After the video of the climb of the Col de Manse, velowire.com today allows you to discover the full race route of this individual effort, and the list with the start order and times for the different riders who will start in this stage tomorrow.
The race route of the Embrun > Chorges stage in video
Between Embrun and Chorges the riders might not have the occasion to admire the nice views on the Lac de Serre-Ponçon, but you'll probably be able to view them on TV and even in the video in this article!
Each of the riders will have to ride 32 kilometers and this distance will allow them to climb two second category climbs. Immediately after the start ramp it'll all start with the Côte de Puy-Sanières (6.4 km at 6%), and on the top we'll find the first intermediate timing point. After the descent of this climb almost down to the Lac de Serre-Ponçon close to Savines-le-Lac the riders will continue their effort with the climb of the Côte de Réallon (6.9 km at 6.3%) and they'll reach the top of this climb after 20 kilometers in the race where we'll also find a second reference point for the intermediate times for each of the riders.
This will be followed by the descent towards the finish in Chorges, on the N94.
