    Romain Hardy wins the first stage of the Tour du Haut Var-Matin 2012The first stage of the Tour du Haut Var took place today between Draguignan and La Croix-Valmer. This stage was won by Romain Hardy who thus will start in Fréjus tomorrow wearing the yellow jersey!

    Almost right from the start of the stage in Draguignan, a breakaway was formed and this leading group finally contained 7 riders: Romain Hardy (Bretagne-Schuller), Clément Koretzky (La Pomme Marseille), Angel Madrazo (Movistar Team), Rubens Bertogliati (Team Type 1-Sanofi), Anthony Colin (Roubaix-Lille Métropole), Hugo Houle (Spidertech powered by C10) and Sylvain Georges (AG2R La Mondiale).

    A stage animated by Jérémy Roy, won by Julien Antomarchi in the Tour du Haut Var 2011In the second stage of the 2011 Tour du Haut Var, Jérémy Roy (FDJ) was in front pretty much all day, but an animated final part of the race saw Julien Antomarchi (VC La Pomme Marseille) winning the stage.
