This Wednesday, the first French stage race of the 2015 season, the Etoile de Bessèges, will start in Bellegarde and it will finish in Alès on Sunday.

3 of the 5 stages of this 45th edition of the Etoile de Bessèges are identical to the Etoile's race route in 2013 but since last year, the race only has 5 stages, of which one is an individual time trial, on the last day. C'est ce mercredi que la première course par étapes française de la saison 2013, l'Etoile de Bessèges, partira de Bellegarde pour arriver presque 700 kilomètres plus loin à Alès.

Comme l'année dernière, cette 43ème édition de l'Etoile de Bessèges connaîtra 6 étapes en 5 jours, dont une en contre-la-montre individuel, le dernier jour, après une demie étape le matin.

La course aura lieu du mercredi 30 janvier au dimanche 3 février 2013. Souvent dominé et remporté par les sprinters, comme l'année dernière le classement de la course pourrait être largement influencé par le contre-la-montre en côte en étape finale. 695,7 kilomètres attendent les coureurs lors de ces 6 étapes.
