The day after the finish of Paris-Nice 2018 in Nice, Amaury Sport Organisation, the organisor of Paris-Nice and of the Tour de France, has officially announced that the Grand Départ of the Tour de France 2020 will take place in the same city in the south of France and in the cities of its metropolis Nice Côte d'Azur (49 cities and towns).
