On October 25, 2007, that is next Thursday, the Tour de France 2008 will officially be presented by A.S.O. in the Palais des Congrès in Paris.
Today I received the invitation for this presentation and that might give a hint on the theme of the Tour de France 2008 ...
After 'the world in yellow' (le monde en jaune) in 2007, the conclusion based on the invitation for the official presentation could well be that the theme of the Tour de France 2008 would have something to do with 'the heart' (le coeur) ...
The invitation, created by the Ossard (l'agence) advertising agency based in Bordeaux (I still don't understand how it's possible for an advertising agency not to have a website in 2007!!), has a yellow cover with a hole with the shape of a heart. Through the hole one can see the Tour de France logo depicted on a red heart.
When you open the invitation you still see the red heart surrounded by the text in which Patrice Clerc, A.S.O.'s (Amaury Sport Organisation) president and Christian Prudhomme, the Tour de France director, invites people to the presentation of the Tour de France 2008 on 25 October 2007 at 11 A.M. in the Palais des Congrès de Paris.

Which theme could linked to the heart could have been chosen for the Tour de France 2008?Since September everyone knows that Tour de France riders have a bigger heart than an average man, but that probably has nothing to do with this ...
So what could be the Tour de France 2008's theme?
Au coeur du Tour (in the middle of the Tour) ?
Le Tour du coeur (the 'hearty' / warm / friendly Tour) ?
Au coeur de la France (in the center of France - based on the numerous stages in the middle of France that could also well be possible)

Par amour du vélo (for the love of cycling) ? ; see discussion in the comments below
or yet something completely different ...
Since 2003 the Tour de France has a partnership with Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque (check out the overview of the activities within this partnership during the Tour de France 2007 as well), an organisation which collects money to allow to operate poor children with a limited heart function or a malformed heart. Maybe the theme has something to do with the fifth anniversary of this partnership?!Other ideas?

Bien évidemment ! Ou plus général pour l'amour du vélo (c'est bien ça le Tour de France !).

J'y ai pensé aussi bien sûr ! C'est pour ça que j'ai réduit le scan à une image de seulement 250 pixels de large ... si tu imprimes ça à la taille d'origine ça se voit tout de suite que ce n'est pas une invitation originale :-).

Voici la réponse en quelques lignes : je travaille pour Orange et comme Orange est partenaire officiel du Tour de France nous avons fait pour la première fois cette année un blog qui s'appelle "Orange dans le Tour" sur lequel nous montrons les coulisses du Tour de France et dont j'étais l'auteur car j'étais à l'origine du projet.
C'est donc dans ce cadre-là que j'ai été invité à la présentation du Tour de France 2008 et je publierai donc quelques articles sur le blog Orange dans le Tour en direct depuis le Palais des Congrès.

Pour moi c'est : l'amour du tour
( represente l'amour des spectateurs au bord des routes pour le tour malgré les affaires. Il ya toujours autant et voire plus de monde sur le bord des routes)
Voilà on est deux à penser que c'est l'amour du Tour...
Notez que je préfère ça plutôt qu'un point d'interrogation du style Le Tour de la question.
