    The list of participating riders in 2011 Paris-Nice and their numbersToday, Paris-Nice 2011 will start in Houdan for a total of 1,307 kilometers towards Nice (don't forget you can see the race route of Paris-Nice 2011 on Google Maps/Google Earth) and if everyone's fine, 176 riders will be at the start for 22 teams of each 8 riders.

    In this article, you'll find the list of participating riders, including the numbers of the participating riders in Paris-Nice 2011.

    Rabobank

    The Dutch Rabobank team will come to Paris-Nice 2011 with a former winner of Paris-Nice (2009), Luis Léon Sanchez, as its leader. The Spanish rider, who joined the team during the winter, can among others count on his compatriot Juan Manuel Garate.

    The team decided not to select any sprinters but only good climbers, to allow Sanchez to go get a good classification in the end.

    According to the team's website, Ryder Hesjedal and Christophe Le Mevel will be the riders who might get a good final ranking, while Martijn Maaskant and Heinrich Haussler will try to win any sprints or be part of a leading group in one or more stages.

    The American HTC-Highroad team will come to the start with the big favourite of Paris-Nice 2011, Tony Martin, who might use the individual time trial of Aix-en-Provence to get a good spot in the general classification. His team mate Tejay van Garderen is also one of the favourites. In case of a sprint, the team can count on Matthew Goss.

    Jérémy Roy who fell in Les Boucles du Sud Ardèche (won by his team mate Arthur Vichot) managed to get rid of the pain of his hip and his swollen knee and will thus participate in Paris-Nice 2011 as well.
