After Jason Tesson (TotalEnergies) won the Classic Var today in Brignoles, tomorrow it will be the turn of the Tour des Alpes-Maritimes 2026.
Usually contested over two days—but with stages that largely overlapped, the Tour des Alpes-Maritimes will be a one-day race in 2026, just like the Classic Var, which was thus able to take place on Saturday instead of Friday (usually it was the Tour des Alpes-Maritimes which took place on Saturday and Sunday). On a route similar to that of last year's second stage, the 2026 Tour des Alpes-Maritimes covers a distance of 154 kilometers and includes four climbs.
Below you will find the detailed route of the 2026 Tour des Alpes-Maritimes on an OpenStreetMap map and in Google Earth, as well as the race profile and the list of participants.

The detailed route of the 2026 Tour des Alpes-Maritimes on an OpenStreetMap map and the race profile
After the fictitious start at the seaside in Villefranche-sur-Mer and a 6.7 km parade route, the race begins immediately with the climb to the Col d'Èze (507 m). After a short descent, it continues to the Col du Saint-Bernard, above Saint-Martin-de-Peille.The riders will then descend into the valley between Cantaron and Contes, before starting a new climb, the Col de Châteauneuf (629 m). After passing through Tourrette-Levens, Aspremont, and Colomars, they will cross the Var and climb above Carros towards the Col de Carros (340 m). The route then remains hilly, passing through Saint-Jeannet, Vence, Tourrettes-sur-Loup, and Le Bar-sur-Loup before beginning the climb to (the Col de) Gourdon (760 m), the highest point of the race.
This is followed by a long descent to Oppio, and the route then becomes slightly hilly again as it passes through Valbonne and Sophia-Antipolis, while descending in altitude. From the center of Biot, the race ends with a short climb to the finish line on the Route des Colles in front of the Bioparc.
