One falling leaves classic can hide another. After the Tour of Lombardy, whose route you've been able to se here in detail, it's the turn of Paris-Tours this Sunday to see the classics riders try their luck at adding another line to their palmares in the final days of the season (there are still a few other races left, as the UCI cycling calendar, which has also recently been updated with information for 2026, can testify).
The finale of Paris-Tours 2025 has been slightly modified compared to 2024, but there will still be a long straight stretch to the finish in Tours, as we'll discover in the article below which presents the Paris-Tours 2025 route, with its map, profile and hourly itinerary.

Paris-Tours 2025 will take place between Chartres and Tours, something that hasn't changed in recent years. After leaving Chartres due south, the riders turn right towards Bonneval and then south again to Cloyes-sur-le-Loir. After passing through Saint-Ouen and Vendôme, the journey continues due south towards Indre-et-Loire and the final stretch of the race, which will be graced by 9 climbs and 9 vineyard paths. One less path than last year, as the 4th path on the course, that of the Château de Valmer (500 meters), is no longer part of the course (due to road works on a bridge), which this time turns left then right and right again to pass through the village of Chançay, instead of turning directly right and passing on this path.It starts with Côte de Cangey (^ 108 m / 1.1 km at 3.4%), soon followed by Côte de Limeray (^ 105 m / 800 m at 3.2%), Chemin de vigne de Limeray (#9, 900 m) and Chemin de vigne de Pocé-sur-Cisse (#8, 1.1 km). Moving away from the Loire River again, they arrive at the Côte de Goguenne (^ 107 m / 700 m at 7.7%), immediately followed by the chemin de vigne de Grosse Pierre (#7, 1.5 km) and a little further on the Côte du Bois de Chançay (^ 103 m / 900 m at 4.2%) as well as the chemin de vigne de Chançay à Reugny (#6, 900 m). Descending towards the Loire and approaching the outward journey at Chemin de la Grosse Pierre, they then arrive at Côte de la Vallée du Vau (^ 106 m / 1.1 km at 6.4%) and Chemin de vigne de Noizay (#5, 600 m), followed fairly quickly by Chemin de vigne d'Épinettes (#4, 1.2 km), Côte de la Rochère (^ 90 m / 400 m at 11%), the chemin de vigne de Vernou (#3), 900 m) and after crossing Vernou-sur-Brenne, they find Côte de la Vallée Chartrier (^ 95 m / 500 m at 7.9%), chemin de vigne de Peu Morier (#2, 1.6 km) then Côte de Vouvray (^ 93 m / 400 m at 6.5%) and finally chemin de vigne de Rochecorbon (#1, 800 m) and the eponymous Côte de Rochecorbon (^ 101 m / 600 m at 5.2%).
They then follow the Loire River, crossing it at Simon Island via the Pont Napoléon towards Tours, where they no longer head for Avenue de Grammont, but turn left before it, onto Boulevard Béranger, which still offers 800 meters of straight as we had for the classic Paris-Tours finish, and so it's at the end of these last 800 meters of straight that the winner of Paris-Tours 2025 will be known!
In all, the final 68 kilometers of the 211.6-kilometre course include no fewer than 9 climbs and 9 vineyard paths, for a total distance of 9.5 kilometers. The route is slightly modified from that of recent years, but this should not profoundly alter the course of the race.

The list of starters for Paris-Tours 2025
The starters list for Paris-Tours 2025 shows 155 competitors for 23 teams (in principle each team has 7 riders, but some of them show up with only 6 or even 5 riders). On this list we see that the top 8 from Paris-Tours 2024 will be present, with the exception of 3rd-placed Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Deceuninck), who is ill. They will include Christophe Laporte (Team Visma | Lease a Bike) - who will no doubt be seeking revenge for a season damaged by a long absence - Mathias Vacek (Lidl-Trek) and Arnaud De Lie (Lotto), as well as Arnaud Démare (Arkéa-B&B Hotels), who will be retiring at the end of this race.
As for Christophe Laporte, he'll be accompanied for the Dutch team by Olav Kooij, Matthew Brennan and Dylan van Baarle, that's what we can call a good team around the Frenchman for this end of season race!
