In this article you'll thus discover the list of riders who will come to the start of the Tour de France 2010 and who'll do all they can to finish the 3,642 kilometers up to Paris where they'll finish on Sunday 25 July 2010. You'll also find their numbers ... for the time being only for the Astana team of the Tour de France 2009 winner, Alberto Contador, but the numbers for the other riders will be published as soon as possible!
The riders of the 22 teams in the 2010 Tour de France
At the start of the Tour de France 2010 we will find 198 riders: 22 teams of 9 riders and if I counted correcty they represent 31 different nationalities: 35 French, 31 Spanish, 18 Italian, 16 German, 13 Belgian, 10 Australian, 8 Dutch, 8 American, 7 British, 6 Russian, 5 Swiss and 5 Danish, 4 Slovenian, 3 Austrians, Ukrainians, Kazakhs, Belorussians and Portugues, 2 New-Zealanders, Canadians, from Luxembourg and Norway and one rider from Ireland, Estonia, South-Africa, Moldavia, Czech republic, Poland, Sweden, Japan and Lithuania.
In the list below you'll find a small flag next to the name of each of the riders. This flag represents the nationality of the rider. Also, national champions (in addition to the World Champions Cadel Evans (BMC Racing Team, road) and Fabian Cancellara (Team Saxo Bank, time trial)) will be in the Tour de France 2010 and a small jersey indicates them in the list. The national champions time trial can wear their national jersey during the prologue and the individual time trial from Bordeaux to Pauillac while the champions on the road will wear their jersey on all the other stages.

Jammer dat de tour in dit stadium alweer \'verkocht\' is. Het is onbestaanbaar wat Cancellara gisteren geflinkt heeft! Vanaf heden kijk ik een stuk gereserveerder naar dit wielerspektakel.
