Tomorrow, Wednesday, cycling fans will once again turn their attention to Belgium (in addition to Italy, as you may have seen with the route for the 2026 Milan–Turin race) for the 2026 Danilith Nokere Koerse.

Set amid hills and cobblestones, this year's 186.4-km Belgian race takes place in Flanders, between Deinze and Nokere. Below you'll find all the details about this race, including an OpenStreetMap map of the route —which can also be downloaded in Google Earth— the race profile, and the schedule. If you saw last year's route, you'll also find some details about the minor changes to the route this year.

The Danilith Nokere Koerse 2026 route on OpenStreetMap, the schedule, and the race profile

The Danilith Nokere Koerse 2026 will start in Deinze, and initially the race heads almost straight through Gavere toward Zottegem. Before reaching Zottegem, however, the riders will encounter the first cobbled section, the Paddestraat (note: on the map below, you can clearly identify the cobbled sections, marked with a cobblestone icon at the start of the section and the same icon crossed out with a red line at the end).

Continuing southwest, the route changes slightly compared to 2025, so the riders will not follow the sequence of cobbled sections from Jagerij and Karel Martelstraat to Holleweg. This time, by taking a parallel road slightly further west, they encounter a cobbled section from Kerkgate to Holleweg. Instead of Kokerelle as the first climb of the day, they then take a road slightly further west to climb the cobbled Eikenberg. Back on the usual route, the race then passes through Oudenaarde before heading northwest to the cobbled section of Varent/Varentstraat. Continuing northeast, they will encounter a series of four climbs, starting with Hellestraat (1,500 m at 3.8%), a stretch through Anzegem, then Holstraat (1,000 m at 4.7%) and Petegemberg (600 m at 6.7%), and finally —unlike last year, when they climbed Fabriekstraat— this quartet ends this year with Pareelstraat. This first part of the course is shown in dark blue on the map.

They then arrive on the circuit, shown in red on the map. Starting it in a counterclockwise direction, they immediately encounter a cobbled climb, the Nokereberg (6th, 8th, and 10th climb), and then, as they head east, a cobbled section, Herlegemstraat. On their return to this circuit, they climb the cobbled Lange Aststraat before passing through a very short cobbled section on Huiseplein. Taking a short detour south of the circuit, they encounter another cobbled section, Doorn, and then, returning to the main road, another one from Huisepontweg to Wannegemdorp.

They then head toward the circuit's entry point to complete it a second time, once again tackling the two climbs and three other cobbled sections. Upon reaching the end of the final cobbled section during this second lap, rather than heading toward the circuit's entry point, they turn right —passing this year through the cobbled Hoevestraat— then left to retrace the route in the opposite direction until the final climb to the finish in Waregemstraat in Nokere (1,100 m at 3.5%).
