With the World Championships just over, it's already time to turn our attention to the Drôme-Ardèche region for the European Road Cycling Championships. The Boucles Drôme Ardèche (Faun Ardèche Classic and Faun Drôme Classic), in other words the Drôme and Ardèche départements, will host this prestigious event, which will see the awarding of white jerseys with blue stripes and yellow stars, to be worn by the European Champions for one year.

Organized since 1995, it was only in 2016 that the European Championships were extended to the elite categories, and this year thus marks the 10th anniversary of the first edition to award these titles to the elite riders - which took place in France as well at that time, in Plumelec to be precise.

In this publication, you'll find the courses for the various races, individual time trials, mixed relay team time trial and road races.

The courses first available in the velowire mobile app!

As usual now, and as will always be the case in the future, these courses were previewed on the velowire app! It's still undergoing testing, but it's already available in a fully functional version for any Android or iOS smartphone or tablet.

Women's U23 road race course - 17 km x 2 laps + 34.7 km + 17 km - Friday, October 3 - 9:00 a.m.

The road races will take place on two main circuits:

> the final circuit, which features a short but steep climb, the Côte de Costebelle and also the Val d'Enfer climb; this circuit measures 17 km - in the profiles, you'll find these sections with a blueline

Each of the road races is made up of a different combination of these two circuits and, for the elite races, also of an initial route (in the profiles, you'll find these sections with a red line).

For the U23 women's road race, two laps of the final circuit will be completed, followed by a lap of the hillside circuit and an additional lap of the final circuit, for a total distance of 85.7 km.
