September is here, and so it's high time to turn our attention to the rumors about the route of the upcoming Tour de France, in this case the 113th edition, the Tour de France 2026! At the time of publication of the first version of this article, the number of rumors is still relatively low, and above all, many of them are not necessarily based on precise facts ... so I can only reiterate the wish that local newspaper journalists do real investigations, to bring concrete elements.
In an unstable context, with an important reminder about budgets to be monitored and with municipal elections coming up in March 2026, it's possible that some localities will find it difficult to commit to hosting the Tour at this time. That said, the "rendez-vous annuel" is back: it's here that we're going to try to document all the rumours and other information in order to compile the complete route of the Tour de France 2026 before the official announcement at the Palais des Congrès in Paris on Thursday October 23. All this is being built up bit by bit, and as usual, solely on the basis of fairly reliable rumours, putting aside (awaiting confirmation so that they can be integrated or not, in the event of a denial) those that are not ... and as usual, ideally we'll all be able to build together the route of what will already be the 113th edition of the Tour de France!
This Tour de France 2026 will take place from Saturday July 4 to Sunday July 26, 2026.

What we already know: the Grand Départ in and around Barcelona - the team time trial is back!
It has been known for just over a year that the Grand Départ of the Tour de France 2026 will take place in Barcelona, and in March this year the Grand Départ was announced in detail. In total, 2 entire stages will take place in the region, and the Grand Départ ends with the start of stage 3 in Granollers.The program for the Grand Départ will be classic, with, as usual, the opening of the welcome desk and press center on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, and the presentation of the Tour de France 2026 teams in Barcelona on Thursday, July 2, 2026 (the program for which was recently unveiled in a little more detail, with a route for the teams presentation between the former hospital, now the Sant Pau art nouveau complex, and the Sagrada Família via the Avinguda Gaudí, which draws a straight line between the two), followed from Saturday July 4, 2026 by the first 2 stages and the start of the 3rd on Monday July 6, 2025, which make up this Grand Départ.

The route of the Tour de France 2026: what's certain ✅ and what the rumors are about the route of the 113th Grande Boucle!1/ Saturday, July 4, 2026 - Barcelona 🇪🇸✅ > Barcelona 🇪🇸✅ - team time trial - 19.7 km
This first stage of the Tour de France 2026 will take the form of a team time trial. The team time trial will make its comeback since 2019, when the 2nd stage of the Grand Départ in Brussels, Belgium, took place in this format, with Team Jumbo Visma (now Team Visma | Lease a Bike) winning the stage.
This will be the first time in the history of the Tour de France that the Grand Départ will start in this form, with the team time-trial as the first stage and counting towards the general classification (with team times for the stage classification taken from the first rider to cross the line and individual times being taken for the general classification.
In the streets of Barcelona, after a round trip from Fòrum > Port Olímpic de Barcelona > Fòrum, it's on to the Sagrada Família. 5 kilometers further on, teams climb Montjuïc, then a little less than 3 kilometers further up the Côte du Stade Olympique.2/ Sunday July 5, 2026 - Tarragona 🇪🇸✅ > Barcelona 🇪🇸✅ - 178 km

3/ Monday July 6, 2026 - Granollers 🇪🇸✅ > Les Angles???
What's certain for this 3rd stage of the Tour de France 2026 is the start from the town of Granollers, just to the north-east of Barcelona.
According to El 9 Nou, the stage should follow the following route on Spanish soil, before crossing the border into France: Taradell, Vic, Manlleu, Torelló, Sant Quirze de Besora, Ripoll, Ribes de Freser, the collada de Toses, then Planoles, Fornells de la Muntanya, Toses and la Molina and finally Puigcerdà and Bourg-Madame where the riders arrive in France ... close to the resort of Les Angles. At this stage, however, there is no confirmation of a finish in this resort, which hosted the Route d'Occitanie in 2022 for a stage finish and start. For the 4th stage, no information is yet available on either the start or finish. It might be tempting to say that the start will be in Perpignan, but this would be based solely on hotel bookings, and - although it could be an indication - there's no confirmation at this stage that this is the case.5/ Wednesday July 8, 2026 - Lavelanet > Guzet-Neige
As early as June, La Dépêche mentioned a possible finish at Guzet-Neige, although it was still unclear whether this would be the Tour de France 2026 or the Tour de France Femmes 2026. More recently, towards the end of August, the same La Dépêche newspaper was more specific, mentioning a 100% Ariège stage, with a start from Lavelanet.
As far as the date is concerned, it's also possible that this stage will follow directly on from the 3rd stage from Spain, especially as the Tour de France 2026 is due to head for Pau on the evening of July 8, where it will spend 2 nights.6/ Thursday July 9, 2026 - Pau > Gavarnie
UPDATE September 15, 2025 at 10:17 pm: The second stage in the Pyrenees will take place between Pau and Gavarnie, with an exceptional finish at the foot of the Unesco World Heritage cirque, if tonight's Sud Ouest publication is to be believed.
For Pau, there's not much doubt, which is why I mentioned the town at the start, in relation to hotel bookings. However, I wasn't sure whether it would be the starting point for the stage to the Dordogne, or for this one. Let's thus go with Sud Ouest's information to say it's for this stage.
For the finish, it would be something unprecedented, as the Tour de France has never before had a finish in Gavarnie, but it promises breathtakingly beautiful images in any case!CONTINUE READING AFTER THIS ADVERTISEMENT
7/ Friday, July 10, 2026 - ??? > Bordeaux
For the 6th and 7th stages, there are also no precise rumors at this stage, so we can only guess that the first will take place in the Pyrenees, while the second will move away from there, for a transition stage, towards the Dordogne.
There's no word at this stage, but last year the website actu.fr indicated that the city of Bordeaux would be a candidate for the Tour de France 2026.
UPDATE September 15, 2025 at 10:17pm: and with tonight's Sud Ouest publication the absence of any mention of Bordeaux has thus come to an end, as according to the local newspaper, the Tour de France 2026 should see a finish there, probably in a sprint, for what would be the 83rd visit of the Tour de France already!
The city's mayor, Pierre Hurmic, who would like to see the Tour return just 3 years after the last arrival, declined to confirm, but is nonetheless very enthusiastic: " I think the decision has been made and it's not for me to reveal it, but insofar as I applied, I can say that I'd be very happy for the Tour to return to Bordeaux. Especially as I remember very well the result in the summer of 2023, when the Tour returned to Bordeaux after an absence of thirteen years. I have fond memories of the jubilation in the streets of Bordeaux. After pointing out that many people from Bordeaux had called to thank him, he went on to say: "From then on, my only concern was to make sure the Tour came back. As early as the Tour de France 2025, ici Dordogne noted that Christian Prudhomme's response to Laurent Jalabert's suggestion that he might pass through the Dordogne was far too complicit for there to be anything to hide.
The Sud Ouest newspaper reported that the possibility of the peloton passing through the Dordogne was not out of the question, relying also on a statement by the mayor of Ussel, which turned out not to be entirely accurate (referring to a stage between Bergerac and Ussel on July 12).
However, the Dordogne-Périgord department has confirmed directly that the Tour de France 2026 will have a 100% Dordogne stage on July 11, 2026, announcing a return of the Tour since 2017 (the department had only been crossed in 2023, but had then also hosted the Tour de France Women!).
As for the start and finish towns, only Germinal Peiro, President of the Conseil Départemental, Christian Prudhomme and Thierry Gouvenou should know at this stage, as the former has proposed towns to Prudhomme, who has approved them.9/ Sunday July 12, 2026 - Brive-la-Gaillarde ??? In the midst of the Tour de France 2025, the mayor of Ussel, Christophe Arfeuillère, decided to break the silence that usually surrounds the stages of the Tour de France. It may come as a surprise, but the mayor told local newspaper La Montagne that he had received confirmation of his decision from Christian Prudhomme in May. At the time, there was still talk of a start from Bergerac, but as Sud Ouest reminded us, with the announcement by the Dordogne of a 100% Dordogne stage, this will not be the case after all, and the start should take place outside the department. Nothing is confirmed at this stage, but it could be Brive-la-Gaillarde... or perhaps Collonges-la-Rouge, which hosted the Tour de France Femmes for a stage start in 2023.R1/ Monday July 13, 2026 - Cantal rest day

10/ Tuesday, July 14, 2026 - Aurillac > Le Lioran
Still according to La Montagne, on Tuesday July 14, the national holiday, a 100% Cantal stage is on the program, and not only does the local paper announce the start and finish towns for this stage, mentioning a start in Aurillac and a finish in the resort of Le Lioran, which would then see the Tour de France return after an absence of just one year, since it was in 2024 that Jonas Vingegaard beat his main rival, Tadej Pogačar, by half a wheel in a sprint!
The paper goes even further, stating that the stage is due to start in front of the Hôtel du Département in the heart of Aurillac, on a route that promises to be very hilly, like the one drawn between Évaux-les-Bains and Le Lioran last year... and the peloton should head south of the department, with the first gradients of the day, to Murat, before tackling the high-flying climbs of Puy Mary and Col du Pertus. The finish should be judged on the slopes of the Lioran resort. France 3 Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes reports that Bruno Faure, president of the Cantal departmental council, admitted, regarding a 100% Cantal stage: "It's possible, the Cantal department is a permanent candidate to host the Tour de France. It's a superb popular, sporting and economic event. For regions like ours, it's a great way to promote ourselves... Against this backdrop, La Montagne looks back at 10 years of the Tour de France in Auvergne, which, in accordance with Christian Prudhomme's wishes, has become the Tour's 3rd largest massif behind the Alps and the Pyrenees, with 14 stages arriving or departing here, in addition to the two rest days, between 2016 and 2025.11/ Wednesday, July 15, 2026 - Vichy > Nevers ???
For the 11th stage, the starting town is again announced by La Montagne, which suggests a 200 km transfer to arrive at the start of this stage, in Vichy. The newspaper points out that Vichy mayor Frédéric Aguilera officially announced the town's candidacy at his New Year's greetings on January 15. On that occasion, a video message from Christian Prudhomme was shown, in which he said: We have more than 300 bids to host a stage of the Tour, and it's a tough fight, but some bids are perfectly legitimate. This legitimacy is based in particular on the departure of the stage towards La Loge-des-Gardes on the occasion of Paris-Nice 2025. As far as the arrival of the stage is concerned, it is Le Journal du Centre that mentions a passage or a stop in the Nièvre region, and we could therefore think of an arrival in Nevers.12/ Thursday July 16, 2026 - Moulins ??? > Châlon-sur-Saône
The Journal du Saône et Loire in turn announces a finish in Châlon-sur-Saône, where the Tour de France would make its return since 2019 and a stage from Belfort that year, won in a sprint by Dylan Groenewegen.
As for the start of this stage, no precise information at this stage, but as the Tour remains in the area after the finish in Nièvre the day before, there's a good chance Moulins will feature on the map of the Tour de France 2026, following the stage finish of Paris-Nice in 2019.
UPDATE 11 September 2025 at 10.27PM: after Le Journal du Saône-et-Loire, Ici Bourgogne tonight confirms the finish in Châlon-sur-Saône on Thursday 16 July 2026, without any further informatie about this stage.13/ Friday July 17, 2026 - ??? > Belfort
For stage 13, we lose track of the route of the Tour de France 2026, even if we can temptingly reconcile this with what Le Progrès announces, which reports the words of Gérôme Fassenet, president of the Jura departmental council, who indicates that the Tour de France 2026 passes through his department (he doesn't specify that it stops there, however 🫣 even if it is alluded to), what am I saying, the Tour de Frances maybe even : Yes, the Tour de France will pass through the Jura again next year. We have positioned ourselves to host both the men's and women's Tour de France. However, no details have been announced in terms of dates or towns!
Meanwhile, France 3 Grand Est reports on a possible finish in Alsace, and more specifically in the Champ du Feu ski resort, the highest point in the department and the only ski resort in the Bas-Rhin. Alice Morel, mayor of the commune of Bellefosse (one of the communes that share this highest point with Belmont and Le Hohwald) confirms the intention to host the Tour de France 2026, pointing out that Thomas Voeckler spent his childhood here at Le Champ du Feu and he could be a great support for us. It is not yet known whether this start and finish go together, nor which stage they would correspond to.
UPDATE 11 September 2025 at 8.45AM: according to Ici Belfort-Montbéliard, a stage finish will take place in Belfort. According to the media formally known as France Bleu, this finish would take place during the second week of the race, mid-July and more precisely the official date of the stage is not known yet but two options appear in the middle of the second week of the race: on Thursday 16 or on Friday 17 July. In my current summary of rumours, this perfectly fits as a stage finish on Friday 17 July, at 115 kilometers of a possible stage start in Épinal the next day.
Ici Belfort-Montbéliard adds that the city of Belfort didn't officially candidate to have the 2026 edition but that the organisor has asked for a stage finish in the city of the Lyon.CONTINUE READING AFTER THIS ADVERTISEMENT
14/ Saturday, July 18, 2026 - Épinal > La Planche des Belles Filles
According to Vosges Matin, the Tour de France 2026 will be coming to the Vosges, and more specifically to the town of Épinal, so this could be the starting point for one of the stages. As for the finish in the area, L'Est Républicain is announcing a return to La Planche des Belles Filles, which was on the way to becoming a must-see event up to 2022, with a series of stages in 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2022 (after the first editions visited in 2012 and 2014), before temporarily abandoning the Super Planche. According to Vosges Matin, we'll be back 4 years later, around the end of the second week.
UPDATE 15 September at 11:00pm: tonight the Ultra Trail du Grand Ballon published an announcement on Facebook about its date being put from what was initially planned on 18 July, to the 11th, indicating this is because of a potential conflict with ASO concerning a stage of the Tour de France 2026 coming through or finishing according to this same publication.15/ Sunday July 19, 2026
There are no precise rumors for this stage at present, although some of the items mentioned above could correspond to dates other than those mentioned, and therefore potentially to this stage.R2/ Monday, July 20, 2026

The newspaper doesn't mention the start location and talks about a possible destination for the next day's stage as the Alpe d'Huez, but this would most logically thus not be the case.

Logically, the 21st and final stage of the Tour de France 2026 should finish in Paris, on the Champs-Elysées, most likely once again via Montmartre as was the case for the first time this year, as a legacy of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
For the start of the stage it's probably too early to imagine having any rumors, but if last year's information from Le Parisien newspaper was correct, there should still be an agreement with the Yvelines department (78) for the start of this very last stage of the Tour de France 2026.The rumored stages of the Tour de France 2026

Curieux l'Alpe d'Huez après le plateau de Solaison. On retourne dans le 74 après l'avoir quitté ?
Après l'Alpes d'Huez, faut-il imaginer une remontée plus à l'Est pour revenir en Savoie-Haute Savoie . Ou aller vers les Alpes du Sud ? LA PQR parlait d'un retour en 74 en 2026 et 2027.

avec la montée de l'intérêt (100% justifié) pour le Tour Femmes, possible d'avoir un article similaire consacrés aux rumeurs pour cette compétition (et en particulier celles liées à l'Etape du Tour Femmes dont la 1ère édition était super - j'ai entendu parler du Ventoux mais juste une rumeur à ce stade)

Bonjour je sais que je me répète, mais pour Belfort les hotels ( plus d'une quinzaine) sont réservé pour les nuits du 17 pas le 18 par le tour de France.
partant de la s'il y a bien une arrivée à la planche ce sera le Vendredi.
par contre je n'ai pas le départ, une liaison Chalons Epinal, ce n'est pas impossible mais c'est quand même éloigné.
Sans qu'aucun élément concret puisse venir étayer cela, de ce qu'on entend du côté de l'Alpe d'Huez, une arrivée le 22 me paraît un poil tôt... on verra, il reste encore quasi 2 mois pour phosphorer sur le sujet!
Voici ma 3ème version totale du parcours 2026 en fonction des infos et des rumeurs actuelles mais aussi avec un petit brin de "vision perso".
C'est la première publiée sur cette discussion.
J'ai allégé les Pyrénées de deux cols en maintenant l'arrivée à Gavarnie, mais qui pourrait être aussi Nistos-Cap Nestes et aurait le mérite de permettre aux équipes de vite regagner l'autoroute pour rejoindre leurs hôtels.
Le passage dans le Jura serait pour le repos et un départ d'étape.
Je vois donc le CLM du Plateau de Solaison et l'arrivée à l'Alpe d'Huez plus tard que Thomas.
Et je me sers du samedi pour rapprocher les coureurs d'une gare TGV et offrir aux sprinteurs leur dernière occasion de succès comme la Rue Lepic devrait de nouveau être au menu parisien.
A noter que jusqu'à Chalon/Saône je reste en phase avec la vision de Thomas.
Je donne trois arrivées et deux départs à la Haute-Savoie et deux départs et une arrivée en Isère avec un seul gros transfert alpin (Le Grand Bornand - Voiron). Gros transfert tout relatif si les équipes logent sur Chambéry (une heure de trajet le soir plus une heure le matin).

Pour l'étape de Belfort, au lendemain de Chalon-sur-Saône, pourquoi pas un départ depuis Dole qui semble à distance raisonnable de Chalon ? Cela permettrait un premier passage dans le Jura, sans éliminer la possibilité de repasser dans la partie montagneuse du département quelques jours plus tard (aux Rousses j'imagine).

J'ai du mal à croire au CLM au plateau de solaison.
La route est en cul de sac et je vois pas comment faire redescendre les coureurs et les voitures suiveuses avant la fin du CLM. A vous de me dire si je me trompe.

Si les hôtels sont réservés à Belfort pour la nuit du ven 17 au sam 18, c'est tout à fait compatible avec une arrivée à Belfort le ven 18 et un départ le sam dans un endroit pas trop éloigne pour aller à la (super) Planche des Belles Filles (PBF).
Vous parlez de nuits (au pluriel) mais en parlant de la nuit du 17/18 et pas du 18/19. Etes vous sur que c'est une seule nuit ? Une seconde nuit pourrait coller avec une arrivée à la (s)PBF le dim 19/7. PAr contre, je reconnais que ça fait un peu tournez manège autour de Belfort.
C'est pas très cohérent une arrivée à Belfort, pour aller le lendemain faire un départ à Épinal et revenir à la planche des belles-filles, donc à côté de Belfort !
Le plus logique serait une arrivée à la planche, hôtel à Belfort, départ d'Épinal le lendemain pour aller vers le champ du feu qui revient avec insistance.
Romain #15. Je me faisais la même réflexion depuis quelques temps : l'évacuation des voitures lors d'un CLM en côte et Solaison semble poser problème. Mais quelqu'un sait-il comment s'est passée l'évacuation à Peyragudes ? Il y a la télécabine skyvall pour redescendre les coureurs et suiveurs à Loudenvielle mais pour les véhicules ? Ceci dit il y a déjà eu des CLM en côte sur le TDF (1989 : Orcières Merlette, Puy de Dôme 1983...) où ça n'a pas posé problème donc peut-être est-ce jouable quand même. Au Giro, au Plan de Corones (2008 et 2012), il me semble qu'il y avait des pauses d'une demi-heure ou une heure max pour permettre le retour au point de départ à San Vigilio. A voir pour Solaison la solution qui pourrait être envisagée.
Pour Peyragudes, il y avait un retour départ uniquement moto sur des toutes petites routes parallèles à la montée (et même une petite partie sur la même route que les coureurs). Pour les voitures c'était via Luchon et la vallée de la Garonne donc une bonne 100 aine de km mais les coureurs rentraient direct à l'Hôtel du côté de Lourdes. Mais je crains qu'au plateau de Solaison il n'y ait aucune retour possible et aucune infrastructure pour accueillir les coureurs en haut. Pas forcément rédhibitoire.
@Fourchecaudine, C'est n'est pas une preuve bien sur mais l'hôtel ou travaille ma femme as toujours eu des réservations des équipe d'ASO les années précédentes quand le tour arrivait à la planche , or cette année il n'en ont pas pour la nuit du samedi au dimanche, seulement 16 et 17 juillet, donc soit l'arrivée à la planche se fait le Vendredi ( mais cela contredit l'article paru sur ici Belfort-Montbeliard) ou pas du tout.
effectivement ce n'est pas une certitude, mais s'il y avait réellement une arrivée a la planche le samedi pourquoi les équipes ASO n'ont pas prolongé d'une nuit dans l'hôtel ou ils viennent d'habitude ?
Je suis le premier a souhaiter qu'il y ai la planche au programme, mais j'ai vraiment un gros doute.

a fourchecaudine, oui il y a bien 2 nuit 16/17 et 17/18 je n'ai pas le détail bien sur mais le 16/17 ce sont les monteurs qui viennent pour préparer l'arrivée, et le 17/18 les équipes pour le jour même et le démontage. ça c'est logique et cohérent avec l'étape de chalons la veille.
Dans ce schéma, il n'y aurait donc pas d'étape prévue en Alsace, qui demeure assez boudée sur le long terme, en particulier le Bas-Rhin.

Une info à propos d'un possible passage dans les Hautes-Alpes. Une arrivée à Orcières-Merlette et un départ de Gap le lendemain, en direction du Nord, sont évoqués.

Avec les éléments fournis par le DL, ne pourrait-on pas imaginer après un passage en Haute-Savoie le 21, une descente dans les Hautes-Alpes le 22 avec arrivée à Orcières (ou Dévoluy), puis un départ le 23 de Gap vers l'Alpe d'Huez?
#28 Partir de Haute-Savoie pour une arrivée à Orcières n'est pas envisageable (trop long). Il faudrait alors faire un transfert vers Bourgoin ou la Tour du Pin pour rejoindre le Champsaur. Mais à quoi bon pour retourner vers ADH le lendemain ?
Si on considère exactes les dates de Thomas (Haute-Savoie le mardi, ADH le mercredi, Orcières le jeudi), on pourrait quitter Gap le vendredi vers la Vallée du Rhône et proposer un CLM en Drôme/Ardèche le samedi. En revanche, Solaison ne serait peut-être pas alors gravi CLM.
Oui nous sommes bien d'accord que le départ vers les Hautes-Alpes ne peut se faire depuis la Haute-Savoie... c'est plus plausible depuis le Nord-Isère ou la Savoie. Je me base sur l'article du DL qui dit que le Tour prend la direction de Nord et évoquant clairement l'alpe comme destination et sur ce que j'ai dit un peu avant, à savoir qu'une arrivée à l'alpe le 22 est un peu précoce par rapport aux échos locaux. Je me dis qu'il pourrait très bien y avoir une sorte de boucle dans les Alpes avec une arrivée par le Nord (Haute-Savoie), un contournement du "centre" (Savoie, Isère) pour aller dans le Sud (Hautes-Alpes) avant de remonter par le "centre" des alpes...

Ton parcours de fin de Tour tient la route à mon avis.
Ma prochaine version s'en rapprochera.
Sinon Guzet-Neige est encore un nom usité pour désigner la Station.
Surtout par les "anciens" comme moi!!!
Mais c'est vrai que Neige ayant été enlevé pour prouver la volonté de la station de se porter sur le 4 saisons ASO devra(it) employer Guzet....
Le grand départ à Barcelone n'est il pas remis en question pour le TDF, la police a fait ce qu'elle a pu mais la décision n'est t'elle pas politique de laisser faire, car la guardia civile est capable de ne pas faire dans la dentelle.
Dans un commentaire fait ultérieurement, j'avais rappelé que le président du CG05 avait dit dans une interview sur BFM ici avant le tour de cette année, que le tour reviendrait dans les Hautes Alpes pour plusieurs jours en 2026 et pour une étape 100% haute alpine ! il y a donc de fortes chance que le vendredi l'étape partant de gap, passe par l'Izoard avec pourquoi pas une arrivée au Granon. seul bémol à ce scénario, de gap pour franchir l'Izoard et ensuite monter le Granon il faut passer par Vars et donc le 04 et du coup l'étape est plus 100% haute alpine. A moins que le samedi ce soit par exemple Briançon ou serre chevalier vers Superdévoluy ! A voir. autre incertitude avec ce qui viens de ce passer à Madrid sur la Vuelta, le Tour va-t-il prendre le risque de partir de Barcelone ?
Le risque d'avoir un Grand départ perturbé est assez grand en effet.
Maintenant, je pense que le Grand Départ sera quand même maintenu et qu'ASO sera en étroite collaboration avec le gouvernement régional et national pour gérer la situation au mieux si rien n'évolue d'ici à juillet.
Remplacer Barcelone me semble vraiment très compliqué, bien plus que quand Copenhague avait échangé son grand départ avec la Bretagne.

Je ne comprends pas trop ton raisonnement. Il n'y a aucune obligation de passer par le col de Vars. Tu peux faire un Gap > Col du Granon avec uniquement l'Izoard. Il suffit de rejoindre Guillestre en passant par Embrun et tu as une étape 100% haute alpine.

J'ai été profondément choqué que l'on se serve du Tour d'Espagne pour la cause palestinienne (attention : je ne suis pas contre le fait qu'il y ait des manifestations, mais elles se doivent d'être pacifiques et dans des lieux définis, pas en mettant en danger les coureurs ! Et si les personnes restent du bon côté des barrières avec leurs drapeaux palestiniens, c'est respectueux et je valide).
Le message est lamentable : désormais si vous êtes entre 30 et 50 personnes (voire moins), vous pouvez débouler devant les coureurs même à l'arrivée quitte à tous les faire tomber, et vous aurez même le premier ministre espagnol qui vous félicitera !
Pour ma part je comprendrais qu'ASO souhaite changer de Grand Départ, une ville comme Montpellier pourrait faire l'affaire sans forcément changer tout le tracé.
J'ai peur que le sport cycliste ne soit le bouc émissaire de toutes les revendications à l'avenir.
Blackfield, il y a cette option effectivement que je n'ai pas retenue car il n'y aurait que 126 km au lieu de 184 par Vars
Selon Sud-Ouest, Bordeaux devrait en effet accueillir une arrivée, probablement sur les quais, le vendredi 10 juillet. Le journal évoque également une étape Pau - Cirque de Gavarnie.

#40 et 41 comme pour les Angles, Gavarnie avait servit d'arrivée à la route d'Occitanie il y a quelques années, Pierre Rolland s'était imposé, donc c'est plausible.
Je ne croyais pas que le Tour puisse s'aventurer jusqu'à Gavarnie (cul-de-sac, montée finale longue sans trop de pente, Parc National des Pyrénées), cependant le décor est spectaculaire. Le retour à l'hôtel le soir risque d'être un peu compliqué avec les embouteillages mais vu que le lendemain ce sera certainement du plat jusqu'à Bordeaux... pourquoi pas.

Gap > Col du Granon par le col de la Sentinelle, le col Lebraut, la Côte de Saint-Apollinaire, Embrun, Guillestre, le col d'Izoard et Briançon, ça fait 155km et c'est une étape 100% haute alpine donc tout à fait ASO compatible.
au vu de la dernière mise à jour pour l'étape du samedi je verrais bien une étape du type
E14 Sam 18/07 départ Belfort
montée du ballon d'alsace - montée du Hohneck -platzerwasel - pour finir sur le grand ballon ( en version rallongée en HC ce serait génial).
le soucis c'est toujours le lendemain pour le dimanche pourquoi pas
E15 Dim 19/07 Epinal -> Champ du feu , cela pourrait faire une étape Baroudeur sympa.
Thomas, un même article pour le TDF Femmes, comme suggéré par Claude (post 6), te semble-t-il envisageable ?
Un coucou aux habitues. Dans cette trame j'ai bien du mal a situer un potentiel CLM. Il y aura ce TTT en debut d'epreuve, donc on peut imaginer un seul chrono individuel, mais ou? Les standards de notre epoque rendent peu probable la presence de 2 CLM si il y a un chrono par equipe. C'est pour ca que j'ai du mal a imaginer le plateau de Solaison en chrono car ca ne laisserait aucun chrono sur le plat ou en vallons.
Je vois bien le chrono individuel la veille de l'arrivée tel que le tracé semble se dessiner.
Pourquoi pas à Saint-Priest justement...

D'après le Progrès du Rhône de ce jour, Saint-Priest est bien cndidat mais le Tour devrait y passer en 2027 et et non en 2026. La ville est également candidate pour recevoir le Tour féminin.

Je partage aussi l'idée d'un final "traditionnel" type 2021/2022 ou fréquemment proposé dans les années 1990-2000(vendredi : transition, samedi : CLM et dimanche : Paris). Enchainer Solaison, ADH, Orcières et un éventuel Izoard-Granon serait vraiment un peu trop en terme de montagne (on risquerait de voir au moins une des ces étapes escamotée). Proposer le CLM par équipe à Barcelone et seulement Solaison en CLM individuel serait aussi très déséquilibré et peu souhaitable (ceci dit avec ASO on ne peut pas l'exclure : il y avait bien un seul CLM en 2020, à la PDBF, alors qu'il aurait été plus équilibré et plus "juste" de proposer un CLM plus plat). Une autre possibilité serait de placer un CLM du côté de Belfort ou Epinal en fin de seconde semaine avant un repos, une transition vers les Alpes via le Jura, puis l'enchainement Solaison-ADH-Orières et une nouvelle transition vers la vallée du Rhône avant Paris, mais ce ne sont que des hypothèses.
Et pas d'arriver aux Ménuires avec le col de Tougnète. Ça m'étonne que Christian Prudhomme et Thierry Gouvenou ne veuille pas s'aventurer dans ce niveau col exceptionnel?
Une idée de l'EDT cyclo ?
A moins d'une surprise en Haute Savoie, pour l'instant, d'après la trame de Thomas, il n'y aurait que Aurillac - Le Lioran qui permettrait un retour facile pour les cyclos. Pour le logement et les transport, c'est autre chose par contre, on est loin d'Albertville, d'Annemasse, de Briançon... C'est un peu au milieu de rien à des heures
des aéroports internationaux.
Pour la Haute Savoie, la route du Plateau de Solaison, est trop étroite à partir de Brizon pour permettre la montée et la descente des coureurs et c'est un vrai beau cul de sac. Cela serait un autre lieu d'arrivée.

Arrivée aux sommets:

Il faut une étape reine a part l'étape de l'Alpe d'Huez je ne vois pas autre chose.un col inédit, le Col de la tougnete comme la Loze c'est une montée terrible.

Une coquille : c'est le Plateau de Solaison et pas de salaison même si cela va bien avec le saucisson Cochonou.
Plus sérieusement, Thomas a l'air certain d'une arrivée à l'Alpe d'Huez le mer 22/7, ce qui m'a l'air pas cohérent mais bob..
Pouvez-vous nous servir une 2e tranche avec l'Alpe d'Huez juste après votre CLM au fameux plateau de Solaison ?
