During the World Ports Classic 2014 where the first stage was won today in Antwerp by André Greipel (Lotto-Belisol), the organisor of this Belgian/Dutch race (A.S.O.), which is also the organisor of the Tour de France, announced some further information about what will follow after the Grand Départ of the Tour de France 2015 which was presented in November 2013.
We thus now know the place where the second stage will finish and also the city where the 3rd stage will start.

Neeltje Jans and Antwerp
After the opening time trial of the Tour de France 2015 starting and finishing in Utrecht in The Netherlands, over a distance of 13.7 kilometers (see the article dedicated to the Grand Départ for the precise race route on Google Maps!), we knew that the first stage in line would start in Utrecht on Sunday 5 July 2015 and the first rumours clearly mentioned the province of Zealand as its destination.This was confirmed by Jeroen Wielaert -one of the readers of this website- earlier this month and announced by the local newspaper PZC. Wielaert indicated that the finish would be on the Neeltje Jans island.
Today, Amaury Sport Organisation confirmed this information when they tweeted the following image:

— Le Tour de France (@letour) May 24, 2014Neeltje Jans is an artificial island in the digue which can protect the country from the sea at the entrance of the Oosterschelde (the name of the digue is Oosterscheldekering) and the first stage of the World Ports Classic came by this location as well today.
After the start from Utrecht this second stage will go off to Rotterdam (the place where the Tour de France 2010 started) and then on to the province of Zealand (Zeeland), starting with the first island, Goeree-Overflakkee, followed by the second one, Schouwen-Duiveland via the digue Brouwersdam and finally the finish on Neeltje Jans in the middle of the Oosterscheldekering.
Completely in the open sea, the finish of this stage will thus oblige the sprinters who will want to win this 2nd stage of the Tour de France 2015 to make sure not to be surprised by head- or sidewind!
And the next day?
After a transfer of about 90 kilometers, the start of the 3rd stage the next day (Monday 6 July 2015) will take place in the city where the first stage of the World Ports Classic finished today and where its 2nd stage will start tomorrow, Antwerp in Belgium.
From there, the riders will continue their trip southwards and most probably towards the west of France but ... that's only rumours for now! As soon as they get a little bit more precise, velowire.com will of course tell you about it, as usual :).

C est une info '' orale'' dc pas de sites ou autre support. Mon but n est pas d ecrire des aneries.
En debut d'année j'avais lu sur ouest-france qu'il parlait d'un passage sur lannion(22) mais ce n'etait pas officiel
Depart d'Anvers pourquoi pas une arrivée vers dunkerque, Saint Omer,ou Boulogne ??
Des la fin du TOur les rumeurs vont commencer a fleurir pour 2015. Comme le Nord a ete bien servi cette annee je pencherai plutot pour une descente vers les Ardennes Francaises pour avoir une course de mouvement et une belle etape, avant de partir vers l'Ouest.
Pour les 40 ans, "remake" possible de l' étape finissant à Pra Loup avec Allos et Champs.
Inmiddels zijn er naast de terugkeer van Alp d'Huez al weer wat meer geruchten over het parcours in 2015:
- de route gaat vanuit Antwerpen richting Bretagne
- een tijdrit van Avranches naar Fougères
- etappe van Dinan naar Plouay of Plumelec
- etappestart in Quimper
se serai bien que le tour revienne un jour dans le village d'où je suis originaire SANTENAY qui a accueillie un contre le montre santenay/santenay durant le tour 1988 citée comme l'étape du siècles dans les différents document que j'ai récupérer de cette époque!!!

À quelques détails près, le tracé de la 102e édition a déjà été choisi par les organisateurs d'ASO. Pour l'instant, on n'est certain que du départ d'Utrecht aux Pays-Bas, et de l'arrivée à Paris. La course débuterait par un contre-la-montre individuel de treize kilomètres, traverserait ensuite la Belgique (arrivée à Liège 20 ans après le numéro d'Indurain ?) et mettrait le cap à l'Ouest et la Bretagne (Saint-Brieuc, Fougères, Dinan, Plouay sont sur les rangs…). Comme chaque année impaire, les Pyrénées seraient escaladées avant les Alpes (le Portet d'Aspet ne sera pas oublié, toujours en référence au Tour 1995 et la disparition tragique de Fabio Casartelli) en venant de Bordeaux et Pau (retour de l'Aubisque ?). La course devrait retrouver le Massif Central (Mende, toujours pour l'anniversaire de 1995) et peut-être, enfin, Villefranche-de-Rouergue qui patiente dans le couloir depuis pas mal de temps. On sait qu'il y aura une arrivée dans l'Ardèche, on imagine un retour à l'Alpe d'Huez, on parle d'une arrivée à 2700 m d'altitude au sommet de Bonette-Restefond ! Les Merckxistes auront sans doute très mal au cœur dans les parages, puisque, fidèle à la mémoire de l'épreuve, Christian Prudhomme aimerait retrouver (là il faudra compter 40 bougies d'anniversaire) la montée de Pra-Loup où Thévenet avait pris le maillot jaune le 13 juillet 1975.
depuis la fin du tour 2014 beaucoup de gens connus arpentent le col du chaussy par pontamafrey (passage par les voutes), puis enchainent par la madeleine.
