  lucho - on Sunday 21 October 2012 at 11h48 Projet ASO : AHUSKY 1)La position géographique: La monté vers Ahusky se trouve au Pays Basque Français , à l'Est de St Jean Pied de Port , en dessous de la forêt des Arbailles Il y à 4 montés différente vers Ahusky en bleue : 1/ Col de Landerre , depuis Bastida en rouge : 2/ Ahusky , depuis Mendive en vert : 3/ Ahusky , depuis Alcay en jaune : 4 / Ahusky , depuis Aussurucq 2)Les caractéristiques du col: 2.1) Col de Landerre , depuis Bastida altitude : 1072 m dénivelé : 804 m longueur : 9,9 km % moyen : 8,1 % 2.2 ) Ahusky , depuis Mendive altitude : 1080 m dénivelé : 797 m longueur : 10,4 km % moyen : 7,7 % Monté très irrégulière , sachant qu'il y à deux kilomètres pratiquement plat , on trouve dans cette monté des rampes très difficile , des moyenne kilométrique de plus de 12 % . 2.3 ) 3/ Ahusky , depuis Alcay altitude : 1080 m dénivelé : 832 m longueur : 13,9 km % moyen : 6 % 2.4) Ahusky , depuis Aussurucq altitude : 1080 m dénivelé : 856 m longueur : 15,4 km % moyen : 5,6 % La monté la plus roulante d'Ahusky , avec toujours quelques passages assez pentu 3) L' état de la route : Typique route Basque , rugueuse , mais en état correct , largueur entre 3,5 m et 4,5 m Landerre : Ahusky depuis Mendive Ahusky depuis Alçay Ahusky depuis Alçay et Aussurucq 4)L' utilisation du col dans une étape du Tour : de très nombreuses possibilité d'étape , en voici deux

  bapt77 - on Sunday 21 October 2012 at 15h16 Un beau col assez peu connu et emprunter ici (notamment par moi). Je savais par contre que les routes de l'ouest sont typiquement basques car notamment pentus . Mais à l'est on semble se rapprocher des pyrénées ! Parfois j'ai l'impression qu'il y a une frontière fictive passant par les cols de Ahosky et (avant) Sourzay et qui détermine l'état des routes ! En faite c'est le pays Basque qui est laissé isolé ... Dommage que les routes ne soit pas refaites pour le Tour. Mais en même temps heureusement. Quand penses-tu toi le Pyrénéen?

  Pierre LACOUE - on Sunday 21 October 2012 at 22h48 Beau travail Lucho. Pour avoir déjeuné à l'Auberge d'Ahusquy, que tu dois connaitre, cet été je connais bien le lieu. Surtout de ne pas regoudronner les routes (la rugosité du revetement ajoute à la difficulté comme pour le Col de Spandelles escaladé par la Route du Sud) mais j'ai bien peur que dans certains virages certains véhicules de la Caravane et de l'Organisation ne puisse pas maneuvrer. Mais cela reste à prouver.
