la montée fait plutôt 9, 6% par cette route. Je ne dit pas que ce n'est pas intéressant d'y penser, surtout si avant est escaladé le Morond via le parking de Métabief, 8,8% sur 3km. le problème est que les routes ne sont pas larges et que l'accès est reglementé, jamais les routes ne seront agrandies pour faire passer la caravane, quant au parking du Mont d'Or, il ne sera jamais goudronné. Par contre le tour de Franche-Comté pourrait y pensé, voire le Tour du Doubs, ca changerait de l'arrivée à Pontarlier.

1-Positionnement Géographique
Le Mont d'Or ne doit pas être confondu avec la station homonyme située dans le Puy de Dôme ou avec les monts du Lyonnais.
Il est le point culminant du Doubs avec 1461m et est situé sur les communes de Longevilles-Mont d'Or et de Jougne.
Sa station de sports d'hiver dépend de Métabief, commune réputée pour avoir accueillie les championnats du monde de VTT en 1993.
