J'imagine un triptyque Pyrénéen pou finir un tour de France, avec à chaque étape des cols jamais empruntés depuis au moins 20 ans, voir totalement inédits bien que tout à fait praticables. Dans l'idéal le tour devra avoir fait les Alpes tôt, pour arriver dans une forme correcte car les étapes sont salées.
1- Etape de Saint Jean Pied de Port au col du Pourtalet, 201 KM, +5352m
Point culminant : col du Pourtalet, 1797m
Une grosse étape qui traverse les Pyrénées Atlantiques, avec un court passage en Espagne et un enchainement de cols frontaliers.
3- Etape de Lannemezan au lac d'Aumar, 129 KM, +4178m
Point culminant : Lac d'Aumar, 2203m
Dernière étape courte mais très intense avec 4 cols pour décanter le classement général. Arrivée inédite en haute altitude dans le massif de Néouvielle.

Un profil en apparence classique des Hautes Pyrénées, avec toutefois un dernier col de haute altitude inédit, en face du Cirque de Gavarnie.
