José ?ngel Gómez Marchante (usually known simply as ?ngel Gómez) (b. May 30, 1980) is a Spanish cyclist for the Saunier Duval-Prodir team. His career highlight to date is his win in Vuelta al Pa?s Vasco 2006, in which he took victory in the time trial on the final stage to clinch the general classification.
In 2004, while riding for the Paternina-Costa de Almeria team, he finished eighth on the general classification in the Vuelta a Espa?a.
In the 2005 Dauphiné Libéré, he finished second behind Alexandre Vinokourov on the stage to the feared Mont Ventoux, and managed seventh in the general classification.
