B/c he will return to Europe to train at the World Cycling Centre in Aigle, Switzerland WITH Jani Tewlde and Tesfai Aberha(achu)..he went back home on monday then switzerland after,even we are luck 2 have him in tour de algeria...
But they replaced him by the championa OF Eritrea 2011 Frekalsi Debesai all de way from south africa and dawit haile(kancha)

Runners on strike in the second stage of the Tour du Maroc.
The 2-hour delay of the start of the second stage of the Tour du Maroc has impeded the smooth running of the race: the riders went on strike after 50 km of the race, complaining that the delayed departure, which occurred after the 15, would have forced them to arrive Fes in the dark. There remains the leading young South African Reinhardt Janse van Rensburg (MTN-Qhubeka), who yesterday completed the first stage coming in alone to the finish in Tetouan.

For some funny reason I CAN NOT SEE frekalsi debesai and dawet haile..?
all i see is 4 riders Mekseb Debesay, Tesfom Ogbamarial, Meron Amanuel, Debretsion Aron and meron russom from Team MTN Qhubeka
According to Hadas Eritrea newspaper, Frekalsi and Dawit Haile did not make it to Morocco, that means Eritrea will be participating with 4 riders.
Team MTN Qhubeka are the favorite to win this tour , I fell sad for the Eritrean team coz they two of their riders didn't join due to visa problems..

Brown won in 02min 55sec 4h, ahead of fellow team member Reinardt Janse Van Rensburg (4h 13:05), winner of the first stage between Tangier and Tetuan, while the Ukrainian Yuri Metlusenko came in 3rd position (4h 13: 10).

@Abel Definitely i agree..The Federation is too weak, but i don't know when this change will happen...
The Eritrean Cyclist Federation is not doing its job. I do believe Visa is not the reason for Frekalsi and Dawit, if that was the case Meron Russom would be in the same boat. The federation needs restructure. I also want to know why is not Samsom Solomon not the Head coach??
Eritrean cycling federation are the most stupid federation they don't learn from their mistakes! it was better not to participate instead of fooling us.

la 2em etape que j'annocais extrenement difficile a ete boycotee par les coureurs qui sont arrives de bnui en peloton groupe apres 150 kms.malgre les denegations des organisateurs il c'est passe quelque chose,on ne met pas 6 a 7 heure pour cette distance.les sud africains dominent de la tete et des epaules et je ne vois pas commen reinrhart van wensburg peut etre battu avec 3 victoires et 2 places de 2em sauf coup de trafalgar comme l'an dernier(1seconde d'ecard......)nous serons fixes samedi soir jour du tichka....decisif

Well they could have dominated the tour as usual. The thing is even those who were there are also good enough but they were only four and the team had no real climber.
@Isayas, Ya criticizing may look easy but one who cares is one who criticizes. but if hear the rumours in asmara regarding the federation it's a joke. Its only cycling federation in Eritrea that they are given big badget from the president. But still they are dong nothing. Some thing is spoiled inside.
