There's only 10 days to go until the Tour de France 2013 and tomorrow will thus see the start of the French cycling championships 2013 (and in most other countries).

Tomorrow they'll start with the time trials, while on Saturday and Sunday the races in line will take place.

In this article you'll find all details of the race routes of these different races, on Google Maps/Google Earth.

The Ladies time trial race route on Google Maps

It all starts this Thursday 20 June 2013, tomorrow, with the time trial for Ladies.

The first rider will start from the Rue de la Mairie in Kernilis, and go off towards Plouvien where the first intermediate timing point will be. She'll then continue towards Bourg-Blanc where she'll turn right towards the second intermediate timing point in Coat-Méal. From there she goes up north, towards the finish line in the Rue Audren de Kerdrel in Lannilis.

After her, 28 other riders will start every 2 minutes for a race which is estimated to last for 39 (41 km/h) to 46 (35 km/h) minutes and before 11.30AM we should thus know who's the new French Champion time trial Ladies, both in the Elites as the Espoirs (under 23 years) category since in the same race, the two classifications will be established.

The race route of the Men time trial on Google Maps

For the men, where Sylvain Chavanel (Omega Pharma-QuickStep) wore the blue/white/red jersey this year, the start of the race route is identical, until the first intermediate timing point in Plouvien. Instead of going on directly towards Bourg-Blanc, the men will continue their solo effort towards Plabennec before they turn towards Bourg-Blanc.

Instead of turning in Coat-Méal, they'll continue straight towards the feeding zone in Plouguin and via the second intermediate timing point in Saint-Pabu they'll continue towards the finish in Lannilis, via Tréglonou.

The first rider will start at 2.30PM for a race against the clock of about one hour and here again, the 59 participating riders will start every 2 minutes.

  1. Bonjour Thomas,
