Today Orange announced in a press release all activities it has and all content it proposes around the Tour de France. This year the content offer is richer than ever before ... one of the new things in this offer is a blog named Orange dans le Tour.
The goal of this blog is to allow its visitors to have a look behind the scenes of the Tour de France. Therefore, the subtitle of the blog is les coulisses du Tour vues par Orange (Orange from behind the scenes of the Tour).
The generic slogan Orange uses for sports events where it's present is vous y êtes or 'be a part of it' (as if you were there). The blog is a perfect example which illustrates this slogan because from June 30 and until a few days after the Tour de France, it will propose several posts which allow visitors to see all things that happen behind the scenes and which they can't see when they watch the Tour de France on TV or somewhere on the roads of the Tour!
Without giving too much information about the contents of the blog, I can already say that the posts will cover many topics: some of them will be dedicated to what Orange does in the Tour, but there will also be many posts which give information about all other contributors to the Tour's success (the traveling post office, the organisation of the Tour ASO, the organisation in the start and arrival cities, etc). And above all that, during the Tour there will probably also be an exclusive interview with Laurent Jalabert and several very interesting prizes will be available to win by participating to one of the games on the blog!
The blog will start on June 30 at www.orangedansletour.com and will offer as much interactivity as possible: of course its readers can leave their comments on all posts, they can contact Orange through the blog (for example to ask a specific question on which the blog will try to find an answer which will be posted on the blog as well), through SMS, etc. There will also be a newsletter which allows visitors to stay informed as soon as something important happens on the blog!

!As you might have understood from the above information, I will be the author of this blog ... Therefore, your requests for specific posts are already welcome in the comments section below this post or from June 30 through one of the many ways to contact me directly through the blog!
From July 4th I will be in London and I will follow the whole Tour from July 7th till July 29th. I hope to be able to welcome you often on the blog Orange dans le Tour from June 30.
Unfortunately, during that period I will probably not be able to update my own website very often ...

D'r komt inderdaad helaas geen Nederlandse versie ... maar degenen die het in het Frans niet begrijpen kunnen altijd nog de foto's en filmpjes bekijken ;-)
Tout cela s'annonce trés trés bien et voyant ce que tu es capable de faire avec ton blog on prend pas trop de risque en avançant que le blog d'Orange sera incontournable pour qui veut tout connaitre du Tour et de ses coulisses.

Je pourrai mettre des vidéos effectivement, mais le blog sera principalement composé de photos et textes. Les vidéos resteront un petit plus.
Cool, ik ben wel benieuwd of je er een poll op kunt zetten wie men denkt dat de Tour de France gaat winnen. Misschien een leuk idee om dit te doen voor alle truien, dus bolletjes, groen, wit, ploegenklassement?!?!

Non parce que moi j'habite Calais et j'aimerais savoir vers quelle heure je pourrais aller voire les premiers véhicules du Tour 2007.
Sinon n'hésite pas à mettre en photo ta voiture pour savoir quand on voit un véhicule Orange si c'est le tien ou pas.

Je prends le bateau probablement mercredi après-midi. Je me renseigne pour savoir à quelle heure exactement et je te tiendrai au courant !
Le véhicule Orange dans lequel je serai ne sera habillé différement des autres (ils seront beaux par contre !! ;-), mais je te contacterai par mail dès que j'ai notre horaire de départ pour qu'on puisse se donner rendez-vous sur place.
En parlant de premiers véhicules du Tour 2007, il y a, au moins depuis hier, sur le parking du terminal car-ferry de Calais un enclos formé par des barrières, interdit au stationnement du 22 Juin au 9 Juillet 2007, et qui abritait 32 Citroën C5 du loueur National Citer, aujourd'hui rejoint par une autre C5 et 2 ou 3 C4. Il s'agit en fait des véhicules de France-Télévisions. D'après un employé de National Citer, l'enclot(qui peut au moins contenir 56 véhicules) devraient être rempli, il ne sait pas si les véhicules seront décorées sur place .

Salut Thomas et Harry, Oui les Citroen c'est bien du France télévisions. Je pense qu'ils ont enfin liquidé les dernières Rover ! Thomas, si tu sais quand le retour à Calais s'effectue je suis interessé pour le Dimanche dans la fin d'après midi.
